Who Are Vélez and Russell?
Hey there, I’m Andrés, a freelance digital marketer based in Ruislip. I live on Breakspear Road along with my 14 year old rescue, a Jack Russell Terrier named King.
After graduating in organismal biology I wanted a job that could offer me the freedom to work from home. Maintaining a regular 9-5 isn’t the easiest thing in the world when you live with one of the most energetic dogs in the world!
After initially supporting myself through unrelated part time work (cleaning, bar jobs, the classics) I gained the freedom I wanted. Now I have time to put into my projects and passions, such as playing music, traveling, and learning about the natural world.
Trivia:
- King the JRT can’t even type and most of the time it is too distracting to work with him. He does however excel at customer care.
- Despite King being on my business logo and him greeting clients at the door, people frequently ask me, ‘So who is Russell?’, and ‘Where is your partner?’.
- King was rescued after being found wandering around the streets of London. He has a rep for being exceptionally well behaved– for a Jack Russell 🐶

As such, we provide a 10% discount on our work to any individuals or businesses who enjoy working with us enough to recommend us. We also provide a 20% discount to local business should they want to pay for on-going annual subscriptions to any of our digital marketing packages.
Why you should pick Independent marketers over an agency
As an independent marketer, I work in small batches. This means a faster turnaround on each piece of our work. As a consequence, we can measure and test our efforts constantly. We can use the knowledge gleaned from each piece of content to augment and if needs be correct our future work according to our audiences response to it. Small batches also enable us to build products that are cost-effective compared to larger studios with considerable overheads.
Take this example: In the case of growing a business via Instagram, if a style of posts aren’t doing so well then we could try to add broader hash tags in the hopes of appealing to a wider audience.
